3 days without posting... This is what a long weekend does to you :]

So there's been more paper checking, so my Chinese overall is B3 and my Geog on it's own is B3 too, meaning my overall for IH is highly likely to be A1 :]

So after paper checking me Shan Benny and Gerald went to Serene Centre to meet Gerald's mom :] His brother Xavier is so not like him.

Then I went to waste my time back at school waiting for the extreme failure _______ ]:

Who knew Spider Solitaire could be so helpful in relieving boredom?

iSpark Night was a total blast :] But we had to chop out two witty lines because of a floodplain. Urgh.

Anyway, Davis got himself a wig. An actual wig. Haha me and Davis can wear it easily but Shan Wei claims it's super itchy. Anyway, our skit was called iIdol, with me being the "Paulalicious" Paula Abdul. Kara Dioguardi's name totally beats hers. For the benefit of those who couldn't/didn't go last night,

The play started off with Benny introducing the show, then Xinjie coming out to prompt him, telling him the title was overused so it got changed to "iSpark got some talent". Then he introduced the judges, Simon the Silent [Gerald], Randy the Dandy [Zhengjie] and Paula the Paulalicious, with Paula being her usual extra self.

Then out came Hearta Tackae [Matthew], who fainted out of nervousness and got rolled off stage by Xinjie and Weizhi, and Paula being extra with a comment, again.

Then came Kayne South [BaoHuei] with an amusing falsetto rendition of You're Beautiful, that ended off with him trying to attack the judges for their criticism. At this point my chair slid back much further than I had expected. Then Xinjie carried him of the stage.

Then out came Kris Kow [Shan Wei] who did Boomzdeyada for us. It went quite well I suppose.

Then was the highlight. Davis, without his huge balloons, went up on stage and danced Gee with his wig. Some of our seniors were shouting along to Gee at the "nonononono", "ohohohohoh" and "geegeegeegeegee" parts. It was amazing.

Then was the Paula segment. Paula gave herself a last minute entry into the competition, announcing she would get automatic entry into the top three due to her "obvious amount of talent". Then Benny called for security and I ran off stage.

It seems so lacklustre when I type it. I guess pictures really do paint a thousand words.

As for results, my Science got a B3 and Maths, an A1 :] Hello MSG of less than 2. I think.

I'm restarting this blog [again._.] but this time with the support of my mum [woohoo] and the fact that the EOYs are over [:]atNYandRI]

The past week has been hectic, with the avalanche of nine papers. LA Math Chinese Science IH.

LA;
Situational went quite well, IMO. Writing letters to request for CIP at elderly homes is so much easier when you've actually done CIP at elderly homes :]
Compo was ._. I was writing the Octopus question halfway when I realised that is hardly possible for a child to obtain an octopus without help from his parents. Then I switched to the one about the gang ._.
Compre was nice. The circus story was like a magical fantasy, at the last part.
Lit was easy. 2+3 combo :] I can't imagine how some people can write Q1 when Miss Soh went through Q2 in class. There was so much to write about :] And the child has so many mood swings ._.

CF;
Situational was about the importance of family ties :] Quite easy to write.
Compo was about a teacher that didn't give up on you despite your bad behaviour. I wrote this based on a Wizards of Waverly Place episode :]

IM;
Maths was VERY tedious. It also doesn't help to have the person in the seat next to you being very distracting and asking the teacher to make the class swelteringly hot. Gerald is skilled in blocking out such distractions but I can't ._. I've lost 9 marks, but I can afford to lose 15 more, for me to get an A1 in Maths :]

IH;
Both were unexpectedly easy, I think my chances of A1 are high :]

LSS;
Quite okay, with a few tough questions.

Imagine you are a piece of bread. Describe your journey through the digestive system from the mouth (buccal cavity) to the small intestines

I've calculated the marks I need to get A1s in the subjects as well. Prospects are high :D

LA: 70
IM: 70
IH: 70
LSS: 75

And the classroom has turned into a battlefield. Apparently the exams give people an adrenaline rush, causing them to fling paper balls across the room, along with swinging chairs and even launching tables.

As such, I've created a list of safety guidelines for the future visitors of 1i1 :]

#1 Always know where the emergency exits are
#2 Put on your hard hats
#3 Keep the firearms nearby
#4 Stay alert at ALL TIMES
#5 Practice the ducking movement until it becomes fluid.
